Wore this outfit to run some errands the other day around the city. Which I honestly instantly regretted because I was sweating like crazy. Note to self: sweater dresses and 80 degree weather do not mesh. But, I braved the sweltering heat and rocked it.
So, random story. Today this lady who I did not know was so unbelievably rude to me, for no apparent reason might I add. In my line of work I come across all types of people, some of which are arrogant and think the world revolves around them. I've never understood how people could treat others with such disrespect. I have a theory that people who do that, truly just hate themselves. I was always taught by my parents growing up, to be polite, respectful and kind to everyone, no matter their status. So, I treat everyone with that same genuine kindness. That is until someone is completely distasteful to me and un-called for. That, I won't stand for. My mother always told me to "kill them with kindness", but when someone is being extremely rude, I've found that it's important to stand my ground and be assertive. No one and I mean NO ONE has a right to talk to you any which way they please. So screw killing them with kindness, kill them with intelligence and make them aware of your presence, but never stoop down to their level of course.
Stay Confident ;)
