It's Saturday! Finally. Who else feels like this week has been the longest? It's funny cause I feel like I say that every week. I've been considering taking a break from all responsibilities for a week and just going on a trip somewhere. A little getaway from time to time is such a necessity. It helps me clear my mind and recharge. Sometimes I feel like I get stuck in the robotic daze of every day life, going through the motions. And then I realize 2 weeks have gone by and I'm completely confused, wondering what I've been doing and where all that time went. It's the idea of living, but not really living. Yes, it's partly the society we live in (a workaholic culture), but it's also to the fault of our own, falling into the trap that is the "everyday American life", aka the life of a basic, unhappy person. Trading our time for money and never really enjoying what line of work we do, nor having the time to do the activities we enjoy. I for one don't want to continue falling for that trap. Because we never get time back.
There's quite a funny story behind these photos. But, long story short, me and my photographer trespassed into an abandoned warehouse to take some pictures. We then heard a noise of someone whistling and walking towards us and immediately ran out like scared little kids. It was exhilarating and a little bit like something out of a scary movie, but we got some pretty dope pictures out of it.
