Slipped into this snug ensemble to head out to a get together with friends this past weekend. I love how thick the material of this dress is, it kept me warm all night with my thigh-high boots. As you all know, I love anything form fitting and comfortable.
Soooo story time. I went running the other day since the weather was randomly warm so I took advantage and decided to run a mile or two in Georgetown (a pretty glitzy, expensive part of DC, for those who don't know). Once I finished my run, I was leisurely walking up the street to start heading to my car. I noticed from slightly afar, an older looking, probably around 60, very-well dressed man who was smiling/staring at me as if he knew me. As I got closer he waived and reached out his hand for a handshake and the next thing I know we we're engaged in a conversation. He asked me what my line of work was and explained how impressed he was at the fact that I was running, and how he'd been admiring me from afar. Then he said "why don't you go freshen up, put on some Jimmy Choo's and come meet me at this restaurant by at the waterfront for a drink". Right then and there the only thing that came out of my mouth was "uhhhhh". I had no idea what to say, in my mind, I knew that this man was clearly a bonified sugar daddy, obviously looking for a prospective young lady to share his sugar with. I politely declined and went on my way. It was shocking and funny all at the same time. Moral of the story is, no matter how much money a man waves in your face to lure you with, or attempt to invite you into his world of expensive exotic trips and a life of fun. Keep in mind, a man can't promise you anything that you can't get for yourself. Just food for thought ;)
