One thing about me is that I love anything sweet; pastries, cakes, cookies, drinks, the list goes on and on. But, I like to practice what I preach so I refrain from reaching into the cookie jar. In order to satisfy my sweet tooth I like to create healthier options. So, if you're like me and you love sweet tasting drinks or juices, here is a better option for ya.
Teas are low in sugar and preservatives. So chilled teas with no added sugar is a great alternative to juice or soda. My favorite of the moment is Chilled Organic Hibiscus tea.
How to Make It:
- Pour Boiled hot water into a pitcher and add 3 or 4 bags of tea
- Slice up one lemon and drop it into the pitcher
- Add a handful of ice to the pitcher and refrigerate it and your done!
Simple and Healthy
PS. you can also add a bit of alcohol to this recipe to serve at a party.
